Sub-processors

To deliver the service we rely on a small number of sub-processors that may process personal data on our behalf, always under a data processing agreement and within the EU/EEA. This page lists them and is referenced by our privacy policy and our data processing agreement (DPA). We notify customers before adding or replacing a sub-processor so they can object. The service is currently offered in beta (pre-release); data processed via these sub-processors during the beta may be reset or deleted at any time.
Hosting and infrastructure (Cyso, the Netherlands)
Runs the servers, database and backups behind BimDossier and may process customer data in the course of hosting the service. Located in the EU (Netherlands).
Object storage (EU)
Stores uploaded project files: IFC models, photos and certificates. These documents and images may contain metadata such as capture time or location. Hosted in an EU region.
Error monitoring (Sentry, EU data region)
Captures diagnostic data to detect and fix errors and crashes in the portal, API and mobile app. Configured not to send request bodies or user identifiers. Uses Sentry's EU data region.
Product analytics (PostHog, EU)
Measures how the product is used so we can improve it. Cookieless and EU-hosted; events are keyed to an opaque user id, without email or name. You can opt out at any time in your account settings.
Transactional email provider (EU)
Delivers account emails such as activation, password reset, invitations and reminders. Processes recipient email addresses and message content over an encrypted connection, within the EU.
Changes to this list
We notify customers at least 30 days before adding or replacing a sub-processor, so they can object on reasonable data-protection grounds; where a replacement is urgently required for the security or continuity of the service, we may act immediately and notify as soon as reasonably possible.
